here's a pic of the carb

Moral to the story:
Build everything in your engine to match, get it dyno tuned and it should work well together.
Hit and miss means low $$$ but low performance also.
I have long considered (but have never got around to) putting a twin downdraught manifold on mine, with a PAIR of 32/36 DFVs.75wagon wrote: I plan to increase the size of the secondary jets in the twins that are on the wagon (it starves for fuel in the top end), and maybe a change of cam to something less aggressive. Then maybe finally it will get up and go?
Not 100% sure, but I think the 2L Ford Capri (Pinto engined)? (The 2L Escorts had a 32/36 DGV IIRC, not sure whether the 2L Cortina had a DGV or DFV)HEMI26 wrote:does anybody know what the dfv carb came out on?

Another workable option on a stock Saturn could be the 32DIR ..... very similar carb to the DFV (same baseplate, throttle works same way, etc), but both barrels have 32mm butterflies. Came out on Alfasuds, some Renaults & suchlike.
