Its four speed manual 2.0L only 70 thousand on clock.. Hightop roof.. second set of tyres on the beast haha.. I have all receipts and also log book and so on.. Also standard advance australia sticker on rear side window...
my plans for this is polished pepper pots with a little redwall underneath and a chunky white wall.. Along with black venetians and maybe just the front suspension lowered a little..
Feel free to comment and have sugestions.. Thank you

I've got a wagon the same as that but in no where near the same condition. Very neat ride. I don't think I have ever seen a 2.0L GN sigma, especially a wagon. I was under the impression that they were all 2.6L engines until out of curiosity I checked out the parts manual. And yes they do exist but this particular model was the economy model, although the sale price of it was higher than all of the sedans except for the 2.6L auto. I'm actually quite surprised the base model wagon has managed to last so long in such original condition without being abused. You normally only see that kind of treatment given to the luxury models.
Although on a side note looking at the entire GN range is a bit of a sad image though. You can really tell they seemed as though the sigma was on it's last legs when they brought out this model as there were no luxury or sports versions at all unlike all of the generations before. There were only 10 different variants of the GN model whereas the earlier GK had 31 variants, although i think many of these variants were marketing options such as the safari and the satellite marketing specials. Also the option list is quite a bit larger. Heck the GN didn't even have disc brakes as an option. Speaking of that the option codes you have on your compliance plate indicate it was a 2.0L and 4 speed gearbox so it seems as though everything is original. I think it should have a am radio as standard too, I think. Definitely no factory cassette as that should have been on the compliance plate as a R47. At least they got rid of the 1.6L engine from the generation.
On another side note, has anyone ever seen the option code g31 on the compliance plate on their GK sigma at all? It says it's an "Exterior Remote Flag Mirror-LH" and I have no idea what that is meant to mean. It's only on the absolute poverty pack models so maybe that is just a mirror able to be adjusted from the inside. Or maybe it was just a left hand side mirror.

hey there,
nice wagon! I think the red wall idea with pepperpots should look good. I dig venetians too -do it! not sure about chunky white walls though as polished pepperpots are so bling already. try it out on photoshop first and see what you think.
btw there are no leaf springs -coils all round. My GE wagon is the same -i think sigmas were one of the first wagons to have springs all round -it was certainly unusual in 1977 when they first came out.
yeh i bought it off a guy thats only had it for few yrs the guy he bought it off was elderly so never got driven.. its only done 70 thousand and the rest of its life its been garaged so its really only a 3 yr old siggy.. lol.. yeh am fm radio, no cassett, and everything is factory.. ah thought it was leafs ah well lol.. so guess the old fella got it for economy and n didnt care bout performance.. cos he was only goin to drive it 3 thousand a yr haha.. cheers iv got someone to fotoshop it on just commodores but they did the whitewall too fat lol, so yeh gota fotoshop it again..
