Just sharing the last pics of my Galant in the builds section it is now finished
For those who are new or if you just can't be assed reading 34 pages of dribble here is a quick run down
Bought a bog stock 1 owner 1975 GC Galant hardtop coming up to 12 years ago.
As it sits now;
Outside
Full respray in Mitsubishi Mawson White - 380
Front apron, lights, mirrors and tail lights all replaced with genuine NOS Japanese items
Badging removed and replaced with Japanese GSII badges
Interior
Seats replaced with genuine Galant GTO items
Also fitted GTO rear section of the centre console
New red carpet
Colt Galant scuff plates
Hand stitched leather cover on factory steering wheel
Genuine NOS interior light
Mechanicals

GN Sigma narrow block 25thou over and decked
Timing chain removed
M7 head, ported and polished
Race spec cam running on adjustable elephant feet tappets
Custom adjustable cam gear
Custom inlet manifold
RB26DETT throttle plates with custom trumpets
Genie extractors
Run by a Link G4 Extreme ecu
Gearbox
Reco Triton narrow gearbox
1100kg 5 puck clutch plate
Lightened and machined flywheel
Modded Scorpion tailshaft
Differential
GH Scorpion 10 bolt fitted with EX Lancer LS centre, fully rebuilt and fitted with NOS Scorpion 3.3 gear set
Mounts removed and leaf mounts fitted
Suspension
Rear
GC/D wagon rear springs re-set and fitted with full set of Super Pro bushes
GAB rear shocks relocated to rear of diff to make room for Scorpion calipers
Front
GH green struts custom made into coil overs
King springs
Monroe gas strut inserts
K-Mac camber/castor adjustable strut tops
Slotted rotors with Bendix purple pads
Wheels
Fully refurbished in my chosen colour
SSR Formula Mesh
15x6.5 +23 (I think) front
16x7.5 +19 rear
