Pics are completely of order, but enjoy.
Sorry about the finger in the pic, but still good enough to put in.

My mate pete got a few awesome shots but it was more of a quality over quantity day for him and he didn't get too many of you guys (well, he hasn't released more anyway) here's some of my favs;
This thing looked amazing! I wish I'd gotten a better look at it.
A little bit of editing has gone on here. See if you can spot it
That silver spec in the distance is that Hakosuka and it was catching me. FAST. When he passed me he shifted gears and had it out to what sounded like well over 8k. Could have easily been mistaken for Hell's national anthem.
That's Nathan and the two GTO's leaving me for dead. Seemed to be a common theme for me today
There's a couple more in the album here; https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 828&type=1

Re: Windsor to Wisemans 24/3/2013 (joint Datsun cruise) pics
Had a great day today on the cruise. Must say thankyou to Dave (75wagon) for today and also to Sydney Datson club for letting us join in on their cruise. Unfortunately I only got a few pic's today (to busy with kids).
Even though I was basically driving in my own backyard I managed to discover a couple of new roads which I'm sure I will be making a trek down some time soon.

Re: Windsor to Wisemans 24/3/2013 (joint Datsun cruise) pics
Awesome day, minus a short fright on the way home.
Driving along the freeway next to a 4wd, heard a massive bang followed by thick smoke. Thought for a second the old girl had blown on its maiden voyage, but I was relieved to look next to me and see the 4wd had blown a tyre, pretty spectacularly, it took out half it's rear bumper!

Re: Windsor to Wisemans 24/3/2013 (joint Datsun cruise) pics
It was a great day with plenty of great cars and awesome roads / scenery.
The Datsun guys were a good bunch (dont tell them i said that) and they held a meat raffle which i was lucky enough to take home a prize in.
One of the highlights for me on the day was 75wagon taking out a Kookaburra (which i thought was going to end up inside his car) only for the poor thing to fly off and live to fight another day.
Once i got home gave the Galant a wash on the driveway only to find that i had quite a large oil leak coming from what looks like the gearbox so i have some work to do over the long weekend now

Spotted that on my way after stopping at the servos. Saw all the tyre remains over the road, then they were pulled over standing around the back corner of it trying to figure out how to fix it.gaPhil wrote:Awesome day, minus a short fright on the way home.

Here's my few from the day:
Re: Windsor to Wisemans 24/3/2013 (joint Datsun cruise) pics
Excellent. Tre04z's Starion made it in
Funny timing on the pic though, that's me (blue superman shirt) explaining the quad carb setup on Superscan811's Triton (or trying to) to some of the Dato crowd.

Does anyone have any info on that Austin? I didn't get a chance to have a good look at it and it appears to be race prepped to a certain degree. It sure held its own on the drive down to Wiseman's.

Re: Windsor to Wisemans 24/3/2013 (joint Datsun cruise) pics
I know it had a Morris 998 with twin SU's fitted, but that's about all.
I wonder how the Morris would have gone if that Stanza wasn't holding it up. The front 3 car left the rest of the field for dead (number 4 was the Stanza).
