Gday guys, did all 2.6 litre sigmas use the same type of alternator? i need to replace the one in my 86' GN, if there are differences what car should i be looking for a replacement from? did any cars other than the sigma use the same alternator? cheers for any advice and info!

hey mate, i had the same problem i couldnt find one any where so i cut down a kf ford laser one to fit works a treat

I use a Magna one TN/P/R/S. Need to change the pulley over and a tiny bit of wiring and space it correctly to line the belt up. More amperage than the Sigma one which i think is 45, Magna is 60? and 85.

use the alternator out of an ef falcon, 85A fits straight in just got to drill the thread out of the top hole
