Gn powersteering in a gh

Post by 81pw »

I can get a gn powersteering kit I was wondering if everything just converts over to a gh sigma. Is the gn just the box and pump? Or does it have a rack? Cheers

You need the COMPLETE steering column from the donor vehicle because they are different lengths (power steering wasn't an option for the GE's or GH's).

You will also need to modify one of the 4 bolt holes in the bracket that holds the steering column to the bottom of the dash.

Apart from that, it's a pretty straight forward swap because the rest of the steering components will mate up fine.

Just remember to completely remove the bolt that locks the end of the steering column to the steering box.

Cheers.

this car is all motor real motors don't need forced induction or nitrous and there's no substitute for cubes.
