Carby 4G37 mods

Post by Lancie »

Hi guys!

i have a lancer a174 with a 4g32 engine.. im currently eyeing on a 4g37 carby that came from 88-89 Galant Super Saloon here in our country.. the reason being is saving up time in modifying the 4g32 to squeeze more power from boring out to 1750cc, shavin the head, changing to higher comp pistons, etc.. since the 4g37 carby is already 1.8, higher comp w/ its stock piston, etc etc..

my questions are, what are the engine specs of the stock 4g37? comp ratio? if i want to raise the compression more, what piston's should i use? does the mitsubishi cam works #6 used in 4g33/32 bolts on the head since 4g37 is in the saturn family?

mounting the engine on my lancer should'nt be problem even if the 4g37 is in the frontwheel setup..

cheers
Dom

Oh and you are right, nothing beats cubic capacity, if you want to go quicker increasing your engine capacity is the best place to start.
