When you have another go at doing your dash pad try this - first up, don't use upholstery foam. As you've seen the stuff dents when you touch it as soon as you've applied adhesive. If the dash is all split (no doubt it is...) and you've cut out the damage, use expanding foam to fill the gaps and shape it back to follow the rest of the contours and glue the vinyl straight onto it (it will look more factory original). Try something like 'fast grip' to glue down the vinyl or if that proves to be a pain - PVA glue. Easy to use, easy to clean, doesn't stink, dries clear79_lancer wrote: Bad point, is the vinyl trim on the dash came un-stuck.
