GH Sigma EFI 351 V8
Ok this is a short thread about my G spec (thats G for granny) sigma that i got the other week its a 2.0l auto GH SE was bought new by the Uniting Church of Australia
Its in pretty good shape apart from a kicked in quarter and some daggy paint repairs
I dont have a "build plan" as such so i cant tell you exactly what im going to do with it (could end up with a 460 ) but i will let ya's know as im making it up
Heres a few pre molested pics

G spec is great!
Leave the rear Venetians on
Maybe add a front windscreen Hood
And Lower Just slighty.
maybe add a Bowlers Hat to the Parcel Tray
Mad cruiser!

Re: G spec GH
haven't really done much dont get time between putting a supercharged 460 into a 30 ford and reinventing a V8 lj torana so it runs 8's
all i have done is remove the tint and a little more body work plus i have got a my hands on something to squeeze some more life into the astron
will post up pics soon

Re: G spec GH
ok going to play around with fitting this little sucker to the astron
Going to mount it up like a normal roots blower (like the supercharged zinger) and sit it on top of the manifold so will need a snout made up might just chuck a 350 holley on it as i have a few sitting around
Should be fun to see what it will do

Re: G spec GH
well mounting the sc14 looks like it will be fairly easy
Im going to cut the carb mount off the std 2.0l manifold and cut the top off the toyota outlet then tig it to the manifold this will allow me to bolt the blower to the manifold
I think the trickiest part will be making a drive coupling for the longer snout as it needs a spline cut but still no biggie
will mod an old 1" gilmer set for the pulley set up

manifold is done and the holley is bolted down just need to make the snout and drive coupling, drill the balancer to take a 13B gilmer pulley and find a belt
Its not meant to be taken seriously im only doing it for the fun of it

Re: G spec GH
well put the 13b gilmer pulley on the arsetron balancer
was just a matter of drilling a tapping 4 holes

Re: G spec GH
ok more pics
still no snout yet but its coming
manifold still needs some die grinding and a bit of devcon smeared around the inside but its doing what its meant to do
painted it with wrinkle finish to hide some ugliness
the lugs on the side of the SC will be cut off to give it a cleaner look and will be painted with wrinkle paint
Just need to find an X badge so it can be an SE-X spec sigma

Re: G spec GH
It is looking pretty good. Will you be adding some bracing to the SC to support it? The Magna EFI needs support, I would imagine a SC would need it even more because of not only the weight, but the belt pulling on it. Interested in seeing how it all works out though.

well go out and get one very easy to do so far though the snout will cost a bit
still it will be a lot cheaper than fitting a turbo and with the pulley ratio i should end up with about 10 psi and theres a bigger bottom pulley available for $85 and this on should give about 15-18 psi

Re: G spec GH
from a Sc12? From what I've heard and read about them, you'll basically start it up, drive down the road and it will go BANG. lol Hope it's not true though! Loving this concept! charger is an SC14 of a 1ggze the pulleys that drive it are from a gilmer set off a 13b rotary I currently have the smaller crank pulley but after i get it going and see exactly what boost i have i may go the larger pulley
I dont know about them going BANG as really the only thing that might fail would be the bearings but they are good quality and have a speed rating greater that what id ever spin them to
Theres plenty of sc14's out there pushing 12 psi on 3.8 commo engines so it should have no problems pumping 15 psi into a 2.0
