Hey Guys, and GALs
thanks for all of your comments!!
Well here is the final piece of the puzzle...
The tail shaft.

----------------------------------------
I had the work done at Gibsons Tailshafts at Edgeworth here in Newcastle.
I dont know the guy, but this is the second tail shaft he has done for me.
He honestly does excellent work!
Came to $450 (nearly choked when he told me, but when you put it into perspective)
Starion/Sig front Yoke, i supplied.
New Larger front Uni
Shortened Shaft
New heavy duty Patrol rear Uni
and he supplied the Rear Patrol yoke.
and Balanced
So the price isnt bad really.
I forgot to mention at the beginning, we tilted the front of the Diff housing down 3 Degrees.
Drag racers do this to help with launches.
But it was also to allow room between the Housing/Yoke, and the floor.
But in the end it wasnt as necessary as first thought.
I had allowed loads of room, and in the end there is heaps of space.
Dont go anymore than 3 degrees but, i was warned!
As I said this isnt just a conversion for Lancers or small cars,
its "For Any Vehicle"
The Diff takes the whole 4 Litres of oil too.
Now for the fun part,
I took it easy at first, wasnt sure what it was going to do.
Ive never driven a LSD before, only Lockers.
Bed the brakes in.
A couple of short sharp acceleration and brake.
It feels alittle heavy when you go over a bump and the back end drops down the other side.
But i have rock hard shocks, so they may not help.
But when i left a corner and hit 2nd and popped the clutch for the first time.........
Well its not shy about stepping out,
and with the short wheel base, the back end was constantly trying to overtake the front....
Just paid for itself!
Cheers guys
