How to Correctly Spend $350
Scored this from bridgewater here in tassie last weekend for $350, shes a pearler and it only needed a core plug!
Im thinking on keeping it as a daily and keeping the old one to fix up =)

Re: How to Correctly Spend $350
I have some 17x10's i slammed on there for looks, my other Turbo GD that is almost ready for a respray is getting the rear arches flared and those slammed under it =)
I have thought about running them on this car but i don't want to get pulled up by the rozzers all the time for having a fat A** =)

i knew the 4G37's existed, but had never seen a carbied one in a rwd before, guessing it has a 4G32B head on it to make all the North-south gear from the 4G32b bolt up as it looks like its supposed to be there lol. anyways, keen to see what you end up doing with this

dont reckon ill do too much to this one, just get it regoed again and not mess with it apart from a stereo (not butchering the interior)
the other GD will cop a decent workover, that thing will be ready to kick in the guts next week be interesting to see how it goes

Re: How to Correctly Spend $350
yeah it was, very surprising how well the paint has aged on this car considering it has never had a respray

Not too shabby for a blow over paint job! And in the cold! Trying to spray paint in cold air and get a decent finish is damn near impossible...

Re: How to Correctly Spend $350
I wasnt too stressed about stripping it and respraying it "by the book" the colour was only a shade off the original white, getting a closed door respray done right is all about how well you mask off and prep the car. paint came up so good you would have to go over the car with a magnifying glass to spot any imperfections. as for the cold weather respray im going to put it down to the brand of paint i used. -cant reccomend valspar paints highly enough.

Top buy and Nice work
If you want to spend $ on the motor - think about having it balanced before anything else.
Im not up on 1800s but the 13,14,15 and 1600s love a good balance job

Re: How to Correctly Spend $350
Ooh - I would keep that - if it works - just for the Cool value
Even if it doesn't work, I'd fix it and keep it
