GE wagon dash -> GH sedan?
Re: GE wagon dash -> GH sedan?
I think they are the same car minus a few cosmetic changes so should be all good. Never done it so not 100%
Re: GE wagon dash -> GH sedan?
All Wagons are based off the ge. later sedan stuff doesn't fit wagons as they are narrower.
Haven't tried the swap but can't see why it wouldnt work

Re: GE wagon dash -> GH sedan?
I put a genuine GH Turbo dash into my GE wagon and wired up the boost light so the mounts etc must all be the same. Not sure on the GJ/GK question but the dashes look completely different ( height and width ).....
Re: GE wagon dash -> GH sedan?
I though so also at first. Until I saw the info somewhere on the web.Scorpma82 wrote:That sounds bizarre...and very cost ineffecient......ah well...not my decision
when the sedan was redesigned wider(gj), all they did with the wagons is facelifts saved retooling for the wagon too I guess

Second generation
GJ (1982–1984)
Mitsubishi Sigma (GJ) SE station wagon
The redesigned GJ Sigma was released in March 1982, based on the 1980 Japanese domestic market Mitsubishi Galant. While a complete redevelopment was done for the sedan models, the wagon models in fact were new only from the firewall forward—the rest of the bodyshell was still GH based. Engine and transmission offerings remained as before, but received power and torque boosts; the 2.0-litre now produced 70 kilowatts (94 hp) and 152 N·m (112 lb·ft) and the 2.6-litre 76 kilowatts (102 hp) and 192 N·m (142 lb·ft).
