rear seatbelt in a 86 gn wagon

hey guys, anyone have a clue as to how to go about removing the rear seatbelt retractor out of a sigma wagon? trying to replace mine at the moment but cannot get the damn thing out! pretty sure it isnt connected to anything else, i can turn/ move it freely but just cant squeeze the thing out of the hole in the frame!

I removed mine, they do come out, persevere with it. I will take a look at mine when I can and try to remember how it comes out.

do the GN wagons have retractable rear seatbelts?
my kids aren't used to non-retractable seatbelts and so every now and then I hear the crunch of a door slamming on a carelessly placed seatbelt buckle (grrr..I hate that..).

Yeah they are retractable, finally worked out how to get the retractor out, damn thing locked up so I couldn't just fully extend it and pull the thing out! Took a lot longer then I was hoping!

they do, and I am not using mine so they are yours if you want them (if they fit).
