Hi ppl i throught to thro my gj Scorpo build up here its a n/a build with most of my old gk scorpo parts (the body was stuffed on it) that was built at McDonald bros in Thomastown (Melbourne) by previous owner in 2001 and made 146.8rwhp on there dyno, with it hardly driven and a blown clutch setting around for over a yr i ended up buying it in 2003 and the engine gave way in 2005 when 3rd piston detonated.
It was a good mid-high 14s car beating most stockish injected 5l up to 130 all day everyday.
my old GK Scorpo Mods were
-exshuast pacy's and 2 1/4' system
-wade cam unsure on specs
-astron1 head ported polished, oversize valves, double vavle springs, decked
-30" oversize forged high comp flat top pistons
-block blue printed, crack tested, bored and decked, o ringed
-balance shafts removed
-crank lightened and balanced
-oil pump
-rods shot peened
-new bolts all round
-weber down draft twin barrel reco'd + re jet'd
-inlet manfold ported n polished
-lightened flywheel
-heavy duty clutch (real heavy!!!)
-reco box
-custom 1 peace tail shaft made from a holden v8 one
-lsd 3.7
-new remapped dizzy
-pedders springs and shocks
being young and a dumass i left the block out in the rain leaving internals stuffed (crank, rods n stuff)
any way here's some pic's of them,
i since got my self a gj scorpo in vgc not runnig, with a few body mods (no side strips etc) and no rust, great clean interior, full exhaust system, 5spd with an m1 head astron 2 engine
at the end of 2009 reason it wasnt runnig he was going efi, since i've had it i've put my old head, carby, fuel system and dizzy on the stock astron 2 block, changed the suspension, 1 peice tail shaft, put new bushes all round and thats as fair as i got. i still need to get the lsd reco'd.

I'd say that they are a 510 cc injector. I'm pretty sure that the denso injectors actually have the flow rate listed on part of the injector. I have some evo yellow tops which have 510 and some vr4 blue tops here with 450 on it and that corresponds to the listed specs for those vehicles. Even the sonata's list something like 275 or something. Although i got my 450 ones flow tested and i'm not entirely sure if that is an actual flow rate. I'll see if i can find the flow data sheet.
The evo yellow tops i have the part no of INP-015 and on the other side of the injector has B510L which corresponds to the flow rate quoted by most people. Although mine are only a single pintle injector. I think the brown tops which are from a RX7 are a 550cc injector which is the largest compatible factory flow rate injector. Any higher and you need to go aftermarket injectors.

i had no major probs but they were a tight fit on, just that the tyres were to big on the front i havent drivin on them yet but thinking of machining out the center i little so there no a tight fit on the hub like they were (eg ve 16" on pre ve vn-t etc)

well time for an update i think
well i clicked over 1000k's in the scorpo the last few weeks on a cover note while getting my daily up and running gave her a full service, new chrome air filter, painted the rocker cover black to get rid of the gold theme the brown 1 had, sterio back in as i sold the one i got with it
and i got a few probs i discovered before the main build thank god
which were,
front left ball joint
alternator (fixed)
thrust bearings ok thought it was going but i'll replace anyway
heater core so i'll need to pull the dash out
not much but least i'll know i don't have to do them again and i've had a plan change as im thinking of going efi before turbo and see what i can get out of her h/c hopefully more than my old gk
also it will be alot easyer to go turbo the way i want it, as i want to get it reg'd before turbo
also been thinking about a nissan blue bird diff conversion as i got a lot of parts from my other cars (gears, lsd centre's ect) + easyer to rebuild when it goes bang
and a z31 brake upgrade
sorry but i got no camera atm but pic's up soon of my progress ppl
