Your Galant engine is an Astron 1, the GSR has an Astron 2, you'll run into problems getting it re-rego'd.

dunno about doing the dished pepperpots, spose i could find somewhere to cut them and re-join somehow or another im not sure...

i do have 2 sets of them now, im sure thats sufficient enough to make deep dished pepperpots, stuff knows the price and weather it be worth it or not though :P

Just playing around with ideas.

Sigma is off the road for a bit, got no licence for 3 months, car goes outta rego on the 28th, will re-reg in 3 months time period. In the mean time ill go back to driving the trusty old reliable bluebird. Just got 6 months on that today... Just happens all cars are having to be rego'd at the same time.

Sucks.

Still yet to pick up my other sigma to :)

I like the red over gray, but the black is awesome. I am not a fan of the supercharger, nothing wrong with superchargers I just think it will look silly poking out the bonnet.

Made the trip up thanks to my brother today

Image

the newest addition...

fairly clean, interior is immaculate, engine seems to be in decent condition, no leaks like the one in the red GSR,

this one is fairly clean really, got a bit of rust in the door, few dents here and there, also front grill is a mess haha.

other then that pretty clean, new tyres on the pepperpots. Brakes in the boot along with other random stuff left in there haha.

The air-con belt being one, been pissing me off on the Red one haha.

Geez mate, almost looks like you would be better using the Brown/Gold GSR as your starting point rather than having to pull the motor, interior,
and cut the rust out of the Red one and respray??

But the red is a nicer colour.

Well i think it will look sweet with the blower hanging out of the bonnet.
Ive seen afew Valiants with Sixes and the Blower and filter off centre, they look different but tough.

No they definately aren't. The sigma has the handbrake as a drum set up inside the disc whereas the scorp has the handbrake on the calliper itself.

Take a look at the www.DBA.com.au website and it seems to show they are having a sale on the rear rotors for 27.83 each. Although it seems as though they are sold out. It might be worth a try to get in contact with them about a set, especially at that price if they are still available. Otherwise RDA may stock them.
