you cant tell much in the pics but here it is anyway..

i also guide coated the door jams but just seemed to run out of time and getting only one side done.very smooth though!

you and me both mate..its bloody time consuming doing all the stuff yourself and especially when you've got half an idea.every so often i call someone i know asking them how i do different things..oh well hopefully should have it painted in max 3 weeks...amgis_obrut wrote:this is coming along nicely cant wait to see it with some fresh skin
thanks alot buds..cant wait..WagonWheel wrote:Awesome work mate! Will look so mint with fresh paint!

best of luck with the painting, you'll find once you have a rhythm its pretty easy, when i started out my main difficulty was holding up the spray gun for so long lol
what type of paint are you using btw?
ill post some good pics up today buds...A112H wrote:I think it looks good, lol. You will have to get some clearer pics for us this morning
cheers buds, and yeah i chose to put the paper masking on but my freind told me that the plastic is better as it has static and holds the overspray on.but i know exactly what you mean by the overspray flaking off.haha it bloody happened!geezer101 wrote:Looks like it's coming together nicely (and no, I'm not going to comment on the pic quality). But if you're going to do spraying in the future, use newspaper or plain brown paper for masking up- it will help cut down overspray and won't flake everywhere when you peel it off. Keeping the doors fitted will ensure the paint finish is consistent. But I understand why they're off- it's a bastard trying to work around them in a confined space. Otherwise AWESOME, their's nothing like saying it's all mine
thanks alot bro84GKSIG wrote:pretty freaking awesome man![]()
and thats with no clear coat ?
hahaA112H wrote:Mate that looks awesome, sorry I meant AWESOME
You have got to be happy with that
whoooow $3.5k,i want the fr's but not that bloody bad! i reckon there a bit expensive for 17's.webby wrote:There's a set of FR17's FS over on AE86DC atm for $3.5k, they're in Penrith though.
4x114.3, just like 99% of 4-stud RWD Japanese cars. Sigma's included
that is so very true..thanks alot matewebby wrote:We have two very different views on what looks good man, asking me if 18's would look good on a Sigma is like asking a Holden man to drive a Ford for the rest of his life
If it was my car it'd be getting 15x8 and 8.5 SSR Mk. III's with 195/50's so I could go properly low without tucking rim. Which is something you can't do on big wheels
Anyway, it'll be tidy whichever way you go. Props for getting in and painting it yourself, looks good for a first (?) try
