i think those old school jap style mirrors that sit on the front guards would look pretty mean, especially chromed up with that colour and the rest of the chrome

Pretty sure that lip is similiar to the duckbill that are from the golf gti. There was one on ebay just recently that went pretty cheap. Itherwise ther should be someone in australia or even the UK that you would be able to get it from.

Square mirrors+round lights = no imo, get round mirrors to match the lights ala Datsun 510
Really not a fan of the paint either, but the idea's cool

Unless you're going for a full tilt JDM look, I'd stick with door mirrors.

I'd be curious to see your panel-van with fender mirrors but i would personally stick with GE door mirrors. Most noteworthy panelvans were local chryslers, holdens and fords -fender mirrors might confuse the overall theme of the car if you know what i mean.

That was mine and yes it went cheaper than I thought it would have, lol.
Keep and eye on these threads, they will have the mirrors you are looking for. I have bought from both these guys and they are very reliable and trustworthy

It would also be worth sending a PM to Pedro and see what he can find for you

Who ever won these should be a very happy camper indeed, they would have looked awesome on the Panno

damn that's cheap for wheels but I don't really like meshies. I wasn't too keen on fender mirrors till I saw a pic of that
GE and I kinda want it to look jap-ish gotta respect your roots (not mine the cars). windscreen goes in tommorow, can move it out of the cramped shed then.

bought some mirrors off e-bay today coming from melbourne hopefully here by friday
No bastard sells purple upholstery vinyl in adelaide I know of (checked a few fabric shops and even took a crack at clark rubber) found some on the internet for $60+ a square meter as apposed to $20 a linear meter (1.4m / 1m ) so might have to settle for grey or black for now :( unless someone knows anywhere I need 6ish meters of the stuff.
will post up pics when the mirrors are fitted.

went to u-pull-it and was sorely disappointed. well I got a steering wheel I liked better so it wasn't a completely wasted trip

"new" steering wheel

Got my carpet in put some covers on my seats and re-installed them and put some speakers in behind the seats

The whole rear section is flat now I put some speaker boxes and some storage spaces in.

Here is a list of stuff I want/need
I need the plastic spacer that sits between the block and the fuel pump, I broke the one off my scorpion and stole the one from the wagon. BTW can you get the servicable type fuel pump for the astron 2? I like to know that I can rebuild them.
I need a drivers side torsion bar mine is broken.
I also want a blue/grey center console from a wagon mine is missing bits/broken. if anyone goes to UPI south between now and next weekend can they tell me if there are any wagons there. thanks

got the beast running today and tested some stuff... not great. high beams don't work, air con cuts out, indicators don't work, I've got wires earthing out its all over the shop.
f....k I hate dealing with dodgy wiring. engine seems ok though so the really important stuff is covered. still, got some annual leave middle of april hoping to get it on the road and cruizing then.

hell yeah mofo's I got all my indicators working, also got my hazards working.... sort of (i think i have a dodgy control unit, they work but you have to fiddle with the switch and sometimes they speed up or slow down  ) but whatever I will take what I can get. Also my air-con switch works it just has old contacts and needs to be in just the right place, when it is it works fine. might be picking up a set of spitfire magnums tomorrow arvo (fingers crossed) will be borrowing the trade plate from work and taking it for a quick lap 'round my cul de sac on the weekend.
BTW. anyone got an old set of extractors? I wouldn't mind getting rid of that cat. also I have crap leftover from the car that people can have if they want.
All the glass from the rear FREE
Rolla hi-roof wagon roof racks FREE
All the door handle and mechanisms from the back doors FREE
I also have a solid metal, color coded original ge sun visor I took off my donor car, a member was interested but never got back to me.... make an offer
I aint gonna throw this stuff away, so no time frame but let me know if you want it.
