I don't think this is what he meant but I get your point.
I think the 19's will look sweet, when balanced with just enough low I think it will be a good thing. Anyone can bolt wheels on a car but with careful choice and a focus on end result lots of sizes can suit many cars.
I am happy with my 15's and don't think bigger would suit my build plan, but the reason we have this forum is differing opinions.

ok the motor is almost ready to go in.might buy a brand new starter motor and alternator though.just to make the bay look good aswell as the paint in the bay.
ive marked out all the dents,scratches and imperfections on the car,now to start prepping all of them.still got alot of perpping to do to get it ready for the final coat but ill post pics up as im getting stuff done.its still going black but as my uncle makes paint from his factory in sydney,he made me a custom black that he calls BLUE IN THE NIGHT.its black but really the moment a bit of shade hits it turns blue with both reflections having silver and tiny pink flakes..you can bearly notice the pink but its there never the less.looks awsome in the sun.like i said before,ill post pics up and you's can be the judge.. :thumpsup:

yeah they are pretty rare i have a couple but most of them are busted up pretty bad , stupid people not knowing how to park without denting them lol

mate an impressive build thread, she's a beauty! tell me you sold the missus not the car though? :P seriously after all the money spent and heartache the car would be the last thing i'd sell. You only lose money once you sell it.... its like shares mate.

Very impressive none the less! im guessing the turbo wasnt as big as that guy thought? mines huge mate and it spools so i knew soon as i saw yours it'd be sweet as....

man the turbo that i got is way too big so im stickin with the r34 skyline turbo..man its all a long process on builing cars,im sure you know about aswell and its almost broken me man.. 8o| oh well we shall see what comes of it...

Well its all starting to take shape as we rubbed most of the car yesterday,i decided to take the car to my painters place as he has all the tools and space to work on it at his house..all was going well when i had to go pick up my yougest kid from day care,my painter decided to take my car for a spin around the block.the battery was flat but after jumpstarting it he decided to take it and charge the battery.driving down the street at what he claims was 60km the boonet flew up and smacked into the roof.lucky it didnt crack the windscreen of dent the roof at all but bent the fuck out of the bonnet and the hinges and also the metal plate that the washers sit on?not that bad but what a bloody set back.
does anyone know how to take that plate off or even the hinges that are tucked under ut aswell?? oh i also need a bonnet if anyone has one? i will post it in the WTB post section aswell. :facepalm:
ill throw some pics up of the damage and progress so far tonight.

How did it happen?
Did you have the bonnet catch on it? Or was the bonnet just connected by it's hinges?

Damn that's bad luck. I had something happen similar years ago. Had no catch on the bonnet, thought it would be good to take it for a drive. Swa the bonnet come up, forgot about there being no catch :banh: I hit the brakes and it dropped again. Thought all was sweet, and then the wind picked up, it bent the bonnet and the hinges ripped the panel below the font hinges. I wasn't happy to say the least (the bonnet was a brand new genuine part, cost me $500 in 1994).

yeah dave i had the catch and all the hinges were fine,its just when the clutts put the bonnet down he didnt shut it properly,as he said he was just going around the block?
