Hey guys, just signed up, all I can is wish I found this site like 8 years when I first got my GB galant.
At the moment my GB is rusting away at my parents place with just a 4g32 and sigma 5 speed and wagon rear end in it. I have also before I lost interest powdercoated all the front suspension and new nolathane rubbers in and new front struts and rotors.
Right its sitting there with no water pump and steering rack linkage so hasn't breathed life for a while.
Right now I am looking at an engine conversion and making a second daily car. Am looking at trying a 20v 4age possibly putting a turbo in it but not sure how feasible it is.
If that is a no go I am looking at finding a 4g52 and putting a magna head on it for EFI and find a turbo to place on also and run at 8psi till I can afford an aftermarket ecu and bump it up a bit?
Any other thoughts will be helpful as to maybe another engine conversion on a very limited budget?
Also have for sale two other gb galants and a freaking shiteload of parts, one could be resurrected cause the shell has no rust but many parts been picked from it but the other would purely be for parts? Give me a holla if interested

Hi Westie and welcome to the site.
I think bang for buck you can't go past an astron in the little old Galants. Even a stock 2.6 with extractors, nice exhaust and EFI will make double the stock horsepower and you can do this for under $1000 if you do the work yourself and source good second hand parts.
