hello :-)

Post by kenickie84 »

hi everyone, newbie here (H)
i found this site google-ing sigmas as i wanted to be a bit more in the know with my new baby over there <<<<< and what an awesome site, loving it already

my sigma history... parents had one when i was little and i kinda fell in love then. dad got a GE a few years later and it soon became mine when i was old enough to learn to drive. when i got my l's i got another (cant remember model, 84 or 85 model) but sadly had to get rid of her because she was a bit small for my needs. 7 years later i recently got another - 1979 GE SE, 2 owners, low k's, very very good cond, lots of original stuff still on her.

little bit about me... first off, im a girl :D i study graphic design, my hobbies include drawing, painting, photography, listening to music and i spend waaay too much time on facebook playing games :P

see ya's around (H)

I can expect to see some awesome things for this car then? Or are we keeping it original?

Have you joined SG on Facebook, and do you play Cartown? lol

thanks for the welcome guys :D
yep, like the facebook page, but havent played cartown yet..
if i had another car id keep her original but unfortunately not so practicality is starting to take over... cd player installed (AM radio just wasnt cutting it..LOL) and once i get some nice rims the hubcaps will be hung in the shed ...id hate to scrape them on a roundabout or something! other than a couple of stickers and replace the hood ornament at this stage i wont do too much more for now.
yes, will have to put up photos.. when classes finish next week ill have time to find some nice locations and take lots more shots and ill be sharing them for sure. at the moment ive only got a couple of her in the driveway..!

Hi Nicki, welcome. I'm new and a woman as well :) Nice to have another female amongst all the menfolk.

That's a nice Sigma you have there, very neat and tidy.

Hi Nicki,
Welcome to the site -i also do some drawing and was gonna do graphic design or industrial design or something till dad talked me out of it -i must have drawn a zillion GE sigmas by now. (In fact we should have a sigma-galant art section).

IMHO, I would keep the hubcaps -your GE is looking sweet as it is -someone on here has a white one with whitewalls and it looks ace (not an SE model though). Maybe give the whitewalls a shot at some point?

There is a thread on here somewhere that 3 or 4 members have added their drawings, can't find it though :(
