OMGTHANKYOUSOMUCHWHOEVERYOUWERE.
This site is awesome. I've seen so much vintage Mitsubishi steel in the last 30 minutes, I've already registered and sent someone a PM asking to interview them.
Wait. I guess I should clarify, yeah? I run Gearbox Magazine. We look all over the world for gearheads with unique and exciting rides, then interview those people and share the stories with other gearheads around the world. My buddy Dave in Tucson has started up an EV version, Kim in Salt Lake City runs the GM side, and I'm all over the Mitsubishi and rally scenes.
The idea is that we're all gearheads, right? Who says we have to stick to our own cliques and only talk about the same cars we own? I've been working on this project since October of last year and already, I've met an awesome bunch of fellow Mitsubishi owners and rallyists from all over the world. USA, Canada, England, Scotland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, even Iran! The way some of us see things, the politicians can keep on with their greed and power mongering. We gearheads can all appreciate meeting other gearheads and talking shop. It's all about seeing the cool stuff our brothers and sisters have done and are doing with their vehicles around the world.
A couple things I feel are important to mention:
1. While I *am* here in search of people with cool MItsubishis to interview, I am a diehard forum believer. Gearbox Magazine is all about strengthening the global Mitsubishi community. This means we will never - EVER - do anything we feel might slight or negatively impact a forum. If anything, we feel we've created a venue where community members can positively represent their home communities elsewhere on the web. Just like that bloke on CarDomain what suggested that other owner come visit this site, it is our hope that people from this community who might comment on a Gearbox interview would mention where they're from so that other readers might discover new communities and resources the world over.
2. I am a Galant owner myself. A couple pictures...

On the left is my daily driver, a 92 E39A with an imported JDM bumper and lights (someone paid a lot for that trim in the States).
On the right is my one-day rally car, a 91 E39A with an 89 FWD front clip installed after a chance meeting with a Kia that ran a red light.

The 92 was poorly painted by a previous owner (synthetic paint, terrible orange peel and wrong color - note the door).
The 91 was spray painted by me last summer, when I got tired of looking at all the clearcoat fading and peeling.
Finally, a picture from back in 2007 when I took the 91 out to the California desert to do a little rallycross. There's still dirt all over the interior three years later.
Anyway, very excited to find this place. Hope to get to know some of you folks and introduce you to the rest of the world before too long.
Go fast with class.
