so sick of it over fueling and underfueling and everything in between... i think i need to get my 34adm on there and get it dyno tuned or switch to efi

thanks, hopefully ill be getting efi sooner rather than later...
my lancer can use the stock ecu but i need aftermarket for
siggy if i wanna keep the turbo :c ($$$)

i just picked up some original inside door lockers and bezel/surround things... i was missing 2 surrounds, ill keep using my sparco 'holden' door lockers though :)

i also got some headlight shields/covers and a cordia wheel... love the wheel but im unsure on the headlight covers :wut:
would they be worth anything to sell? i thought peter wherrets came with them but were they an option/aftermarket for any sigma?

just though if anyones interested in the specs...

my motor is a standard astron 1 2.6 with an m6(i think?) tp magna head and adjustable
lifters and a 2 litre cam (the waterpump shaft is blocked with a 34or35mm welch plug)
at the moment its running a 32/36 weber on a carby magna manifold, im looking for a
rwd astron 2 carby manifold out of a scorpion and a 34adm if i keep it carby... or im making
a custom efi manifold, but im hoping it fits my LB, then i can use the manifold of that on this :)

theres a small surge tank badly fitted in the engine bay under the manifold filled by the mechanical fuel pump
connected to an unknown bosch efi pump and a malpassi carby turbo regulator (i have a holley carby regulator
here i was gunna boost reference)

its running a $100 secondhand intercooler from spg performance in hobart, factory sigma turbo
manifold and turbo (though its not watercooled?) and a 60mm HKS (knockoff) wastegate.. at the moment it has about a foot of dump and screamer pipe.. you might notice the black engine bay :D

ive got pepperpots here to put on it (though theyve got brand new 195/45s on em i bought for my lancer.. too small?) i want to paint the lower part of the car black and get a red pinstripe and some turbo bonnet vents... then i'll be happy for awhile

the only thing is.. i get my licence back in a month and i want to use the siggy as my daily, but its not really trasitioning onto boost really well... i heard the 32/36 doesnt have a power valve like a 34adm (or a holley)... the jets have been drilled out but it needs dyno tuning :(

thanks man, hahaha yea theres a few lil dodgey things i need to fix up, lol
heatshields and a bonnet vent are my first priority :)

also last time the speedo cable melted it jammed on and i chewed through 3/4 of my brake pads getting it home :(

yay :) i won a wideband 02 complete kit on ebay for a great price...
cant wait for it to arive so i can have a go at tuning this bad boy

also have some GH turbo bonnet vents and heat shields on the way :)
also bought a set of 5 polished pepperpots so i dont have to polish mine
and in the next hour or two i'll know if i've won my turbo dizzy off ebay

not many things now to get it roadworthy:
gotta mount the surge tank and pump properly,
need a heat proof accelerator cable.. or just a longer one
get some oil cooler lines so i can fit my cooler
and get an exhaust lol
also gotta get a new brake disc and some pads..

then try to sneak it over the pits :)
i'll try to get a pic of it up with the pepperpots on it sometime

cheers,
rob

p.s. im getting a GSR rear spoiler..
just wanted to check if a GK(?) boot is about the same as the GH boot?..
anyone put a GSR spoiler on a GE/GH before?
not 100% set on the idea i just wanna see what it looks like.. and it shouldnt be hard to sell on if i don't like it :)

well this should come in handy... it can log afr, egt, manifold pressure and rpm if you connect it to a laptop :)

also, i went to change the back speakers.. and my parcel shelf is really really depressing :( looks like someones made the holes for the speakers with a block buster and its almost rusted away completely from the bottom of the window :(

thanks dude :)

im buying bretts haltech and injectors to go with it, siggy's just at the exhaust place overnight getting a 2.5" system put on or id take a pic of the engine bay, looks heaps better with the proper heat shields :)

ive got a set of polished globe montegos to put on it when i find some wheelnuts and as soon as my vents are powder coated i'll be putting them on too

That Cordia wheel has to go and the GE bar with it.
Other then that, it's all good
Montegos look way better then Pepperpots on the earlier shape.

just went to jaycar to get a heatsink for my ignition module $14! what a ripoff... got some other bits and bobs and didnt get much change from $120 :(

on another note, i got 2 metres of marine fuel hose for $6 a metre... didnt even realize it was rated to 150psi :), my battery box is also from the boat shop.. much cheaper than supercheap auto :)

motor sure looks the goods, i wish it would start.. no spark :( i did put my oil cooler on the other day though, another $55 worth of hoses and fittings
after i put my thermo fan on im gunna be real angry cos there wont be anything else to do... but it still doesnt have any spark :(

Hi!

On my old twin dellorto's 4g32 i had the problem that it didn't run properly on idle, it always stalled also because there was no spark. It was solved by lowering the control voltage(?) of the ignition to 9V...

Hope this helps...

ignition module was the wrong sort, the trigger signal from the haltech was connected to the "hall -" pin instead of the "hall +" of the module...

runs awesome now but the clutch slips when the boost kicks in... im gunna get a series 4/5 240mm rx7 turbo clutch and either a starion flywheel or get mine redrilled to suit
