Put down the keyboard, warrior.

VVTi 1UZ has 224kw standard
Your average LS1 has 225kw standard
I'd hardly call that "far more powerful," would you?

Edit: And even if they were "far more powerful" as you seem to think, that doesn't change the fact that they leak like a screen door on a submarine.

$220 is a bargain, did that include paint?
Last wheels I got polished was about 20 years ago and that was $40 per wheel, lol

Listen here, ive seen a vvti 1uz on the dyno in stock form, they are 160-170 rwkw

Ls1's are 200+ rwkw stock.

I stand corrected.
Doesn't change the fact that the LS1 is a leaky, lazy pushrod boat anchor that uses WAY too much fuel and chews oil like the clapped-out old 202 in my VC. And on those points alone I'll never, ever own one.
Anyway. Enough spamming of Luke's thread, I wanna see some progress on this beast :)

Looking great Luke, i was half expecting this to come up forsale after you brought the 3000 ;)

Box that front corner in mate, it will make it much neater and hide that pod filter.
I dont know if the cops are as hard on pod filters down there as they are here.
But we cant get away with them if pulled over

Yeah that pod is getting a box for sure, and even though I have the 3000gt I still need to keep this project going, going to be worth it in the end
