Different countries had different model designations. For example, what we call a GE Sigma over here would be known as an A12#x in Japan, a YC in NZ etc.
'84 would be equivalent to our GK, but we never got the 4G63 in Sigmas. So I daresay that GV is the NZ-specific model designation for the A16#x model series, much like GJ-GK is ours.

Yea thinking about loweing the front maybe 5mil and the rear another 5mil or so.
Springs were compressed but too far so sat on bumps all'round, still the same up front but got some Mitsi Diamante s/w rear springs and compressed them but not as much so the rear now has travel so has a little body roll around corners (of course before hand it had none being on the bump stops) and it seems a little soft on the bigger profile tyres (compared to the old 40 and 45s) but all-in-all handles good on the street.
When you say it sat quite nice on the old rims, do you mean lower?
Looks great but I think I like the other wheels better. I love the new wheels but think they are too old fashioned for the car. The car has a modern feel fith the coloured bumper and plastic moulds, think the first wheels were more of the cars era.
