Can you believe it has been 5 years already? And entry is STILL just $10, and it’s STILL free for spectators!
The Show About Nothing returns, and there are some huge changes to the format for 2012….nah, just kidding, you guys would lynch us if we did that!
Where: Wigley Reserve, Anzac Highway, Glenelg
When: Sunday, 26 February 10:00am-3:00pm
As always, we will be asking spectators for a gold coin donation on the day, and all profits from the event go to charity – this year it will be going to Australian Lutheran World Service, which does excellent work in a number of third-world countries. Visit
http://www.alws.org.au/ for more info on them.
We knew it was going to be hard to top the Toyota 2000GT that made an appearance last year, but we think we may have done it - the much-anticipated ‘Team Monster Chef’ Shitbox Rally car will also be in attendance, raising money for the Cancer Council when it drives from Melbourne to Cairns in April 2012, so if you can spare some cash to help with fundraising efforts, your donations would be very much appreciated.
We’ve just opened up entries once again, so jump on the website –
www.alljapanday.com.au – and come and join us once again for a relaxed day drooling over some of South Australia’s (and Australia’s!) finest metal.

GB_BB4C and I went to the SMASA cruise last night. Was a pretty good turn out considering the weather started out shitty.
I forgot my camera but our cars got quite a few looks and comments. The photographer took a few shots of our cars so hope they turn up on the Street Machine website, spreading the brand, lol
And we might have found a new member with a very nice car. He was riding past on his Hayabusa and spotted GB_BB4C's turbo wheels so stopped for a chat. He has just finished a very comprehensive rebuild of his GJ GSR fitted with an EVO engine making (this is from memory so don't quote me) 361RWHP.
Fingers crossed he signs up and joins us on the March 11 cruise.

So I GB_BB4C and I went on a last minute cruise tonight with SMASA and ACE (All Car Enthusiasts) was a different sort of cruise and was pretty cool. Best this of the night was at the half way meet point they had someone not associated with either club hand out prizes. Turns out he loved old school J-Tin and ignored all the Commodores and Skylines and gave my hardtop 1st prize and GB_BB4C's hardtop 2nd.
We were pretty stoked

It was a Sip N Save cruise, remember the old advert? Take a left at the sip N save, then right at the next SipN Save and so on... well that was how the cruise was run, was a good laugh.
Anyway, the meet up point was at the Old Spot Hotel / Sip N Save so I got a $30 pub voucher, pretty cool wine cooler bag, 7 day trial membership at a local gym, Nolathane key ring (pretty cool, itis made out of nolathane), Whiteline Suspension tuning guide, a heap of sponsor buisness stickers.
All little bits really but it is cool they did it and hell, every one likes prizes even if it is just a goodie bag
