Newcastle Cruise and Go Kart night

Its been awhile guys and Girls,
I know Christmas is coming up and plenty of parties and events to goto leading upto it.

But would we like to organise a date in the new year (Its only a couple of weekes away now)
Man this year has flown!

Any suggestions

As the cruise seems to have fizzled to nothing (not enough interest) I was thinking about a Newcastle member BBQ and drinks at my place? I have the room...

I'd be up for another Go kart night though?

Before Xmas means the 18th or 19th (so that's next weekend) if we are talking weekend? Is that enough time?
The 25th is the following Sat.
Then the 1st of Jan is the next Saturday.

Maybe the first question is when is the track available?

I'll actually be Karting at Thornton on the 18th around lunchtime with some old school friends. Either the 19th or after christmas would probably be easier for me.

They only have room for the last session this sat night.

Then they are booked out into the new year.

So just putting it out there,

I called Xtreme Karts on Sunday.

They are basically booked out until Xmas, so we will organise it in the first couple of weekends of the New year.

Dave is offering for us to have a BBQ at his place after the Karts
so you will need to bring some coin to cover the food and soft drinks??
Dave i will organise with you and can help with the shopping and help you cover the costs if you need

Just snags, bread rolls etc... Nothing flash, but the butcher we go to makes a mean sausage (none of that supermarket crap)

I'm happy with everyone just bringing drinks.

Sounds like we might have a few Dan (from who I've been talking to lately).

How many can we have on the track? Would it be a limit of 8?

Maybe we should have a list of first in get on the list of drivers first if there is over 8 (if that's the number?).

Last time i called, i asked about 12 people, and they said we would have to spilt into 2 groups.
Which i though would be a good idea, we can then have abit of a laugh watching each other.

Give me a date to work on guys then we will see how many people can make it and go from there...

Going by Superscan811 it'd probably be good if we could try to sort it by the 8th if it isn't too late?
