It's not just about pics ffi...
Photos are not the B all and end all, it is more for the cruise and what I think the drivers might like :wut: . We might not even be able to make it but if we can it will be one day, but until I have a date I cant say yes we are definite or not due to work commitments/business. What Wayne (Ozdglalants) has described in the last post is what I have been trying to say all along. It is a great cruise, all the turns Stanwell tops, cliff bridge and down past the beaches it is a gorgeous drive. Plenty of places to turn off and show the cars but honestly no parking at Kiama on the weekend. A great pub at Jamberoo and all the bikers line their bikes up the front, and Robertson has a great pie shop then onto the Freeway through Bowral. The possibilites are endless to finish on. Food for thought!

Cheers ffi

Heading off down through Stanwell park,Scarborough past the beaches Austinmer & Thirroul before reaching wollongong harbour, beach than we can head off to Kiama it would be like the run to Newcastle great views to see beaches etc anyone that has been down this way knows what a wonderful drive this is can not wait for this one. this is my little input for this cruise what does everyone think? thanks wayne.
And that could easily be done Heathcote railway station car park to Heathcote railway station car park in 9:30am to 2pm/ 3pm time frame without rushing? Thinking Sunday the 14th Feb here.....

If anyone knows of any other owners of the types of cars that appear on this site that are in the Newcastle, Sydney or Wollongong areas, please notify them of the cruise. We want them to come along. Lets get as many of these cars together as possible....

I'll post up a cruise in the cruise register with all the details.
I'll use ozgdgalants details to base it off. But can someone help me with times?
We need to work to Heathcote railway station car park to Heathcote railway station car park in 9:30am to 2pm/ 3pm time frame.
Any help would be appreciated.
What other meet points do we need?
I'll organise the Newcastle end on my own, and the Central Coast members pick on the way too.
What about food? Just need somewhere to buy if BBQ's aren't available, (just a warning, I don't cook, not if you want to keep living anyway).
I'm off to bed, got an early start an a late finish tomorrow.
But post up I'll read it tomorrow.

We now have a Cruise Posted for the 14th Feb (Valentines Day) http://www.sigma-galant.com/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=3290

All the Details are there (I hope)

Hope to see as many at this one as possible.............. I may have another newbie to come as of last Nite I hope. That means you Aaron, if you're reading this.

If you see other cars that fit the description of the others of this site, invite them... Stalking is becoming a regular thing for me

If anyone is closer than Newcastle for this one I won't accept that it's too far to come....

I can vouch for this route. I did an almost identical trip with the Ford XR5 Focus guys just this Sunday.
The latter half of the national park has smooth fresh tar but even the older surface at the start was pretty good. Not many passing spots tho, I got stuck behind a beige Camry (i know, how cliche?) but was able to lose it before the twisty bits.
Plenty of photo spots along the way too.

Here's my and my gf's photos from the day.

http://issuu.com/naomi.brooks/docs/xr5t ... ipBtn=true

Not all of them are from the national park, we continued up to Mt Kiera lookout and over to Maquarie Pass

with a bit of luck I'll have a 5sp in the coupe and if I'm really lucky, I might even have the new engine built by then, but I'm not counting on it.

Either way i'd love to come along.

That would be a damn shame if you can't make it... we haven't had a scorpion make a showing at a cruise I've been to yet.
Hope you can sort something out, what do you think you'd get for your grandmother if you sold her??? (poor taste I know, but just a joke)

The camping idea is out because of members who aren't interested... It will be a long day for me, coming from Newcastle, but I'm bringing my wife on this one. Mrs 75wagon can share some of the driving, gives me a chance to do some video...

Hope that's OK about the non-camping, don't want to disappoint. It was just an idea I put forward...

Not much lol she's that old and worn out no-one would want her
Hopefully they'll agree to give me more money otherwise I'm stuck in this shithole for longer and I don't get to go on a cruise with more old Mitsi's than I'll have ever seen in my life :P

We've just hit 20 cars listed for the Feb 14th cruise... Ok, some are maybe's but it's looking good.
The December cruise had a few extra's turn up on the day, but unfortunately had some pill out at the last minute too (I suppose it levels out).

I've been inviting other owners from other sites (mainly Cardomain), There may be some possibilities there???

Just as a mater of interest. There was some talk a while ago (by FridgeGB I think) that there weren't enough people in Brisbane to cruise with. Mate, have a look at Cardomain, there are heaps up your way. Same for SA, and Vic. If you want cruises to happen in your area, do something about it. Don't wait for someone else.
