Distributor Wiring help needed!

Doing a turbo build on my 4g54 and need some help with the dizzy wiring. The standard dizzy has a plug-like connector which consists of two wires, brown and grey. The boost retard dizzy i got has no connector but has 3 wires, a yellow and a white that go to the dizzy inside and another wire just wrapped around the other two leading to nowhere.

My question is, which wire do i put where?

Stock dizzy wires.


Turbo dizzy wires.


Side by side with caps off.


Any help will be very appreciated.

Remove the rotor button and take a clear picture of the module the wires plug into. (brand and part number would be good)

a. The body of the Dizzy will supply the negative.
b. One of the wires will be +12v from ignition.
c. One wire will be going to the coil.
d. the 3rd wire will most likely be a shield (ground).
