Mine is also WC which I can't find anywhere. My trim code is X2, again I can not find info on it. Any ideas??? What is everyone elses trim code???

Weren't the coupe's and GTO's imported?
maybe that's why.....

I thought the coupes were assembled and painted here.
When stripping mine I noticed the body had been galvonised and new they were doing that the Centura's and Valiants in 1975 so figured it was done here.
I have searched Jap web sites for paint and trim codes and can't find WC or X2 either.
I would love to find some original trim to redo the seats and door trims but it is pretty unlikely really.

I know this is an older post but im trying to track down the correct paint of my 1980 Scorpion

The compliance plate says BP is the color but i dont seer that in the list

Ive also checked the Chrysler Sapporo and Challenger colours for the same year and they use codes for the blues of B22 and B39 from what i can see on this



anyone know of any other sources of the colors for these as i would like to match the color completely and given the state of the current color it may be difficult to match correctly

You'd be surprised what they can come up with.

only one in my town is Repco and i was just trying to identify the correct code etc first... just to be sure i definitely had the right color...

as it turns out i found the right color i believe Bright Blue ...however even it has several different versions

BP in Australia is called Jamaica Blue Metallic. MMC code is B22, so yes, the Bright Blue Poly off that pic.

I have just purchased a red 77 lancer hatch. Iam trying to match paint. Under the bonnet it says Bright Orange. The numberis 002 or 062 not sure, its number is fadded some. the owners manual says Californian Orange. I have been told that it could be Spitfire Orange also. Ihave had a brown one since new its colour is Pamirs Brown, 004.

well i took my colour and code to a panel beater and he said the colour of my red one is Californian Orange. 062. Its appears to be a Mitsubishi colour. only used in 1977. on the LB.
