GC GD steering components

Post by shuggy »

hey guys had some ppl pm'ing me about where i got all my steering components so thought id share

REPCO

Lower ball joints - SBJ122 - 39.99EA (although they have one brand at the moment that i got for $6.00 so if you can find them good on ya)

Tie rod ends - Inner - apparantly no longer stock but number is TTE464R - but i paid $9EA so maybe can still find them, they on clearance..

Outer - TTE463L - $28 EA (but again some are on clearance so were half price)

idler arm bush kit - ? - $12 (half price atm $6)

Lower arm bush kit (6pce) - ? - few hundred $

AUTOPRO

controll arm (drag link) - ? - $98 inc postage from overseas (2 weeks postage)

they also had tie rod ends and controll arm bush kit but i think it was more expensive sorry dont hav part number or price.

hope this helps!

yeh good ay, all done now got wheel allignment today, but i ordered the idler arm bush kit and its different to the one already on the car.
the one on it is one ended long bush where the nolathane one i got is 2 piece short ones (eithr end)..

dunno :?

but ball joints just used ma mates press, tie rod ends were piece of piss, and controll arm was bit fiddly (ratchet doesnt fir under there :x ) but got it in the end.

the new treads and new steering joints are lovely to drive :)

ah i got idler arm bush, sway bar bush, and can get controll arm bush kit but i didnt bother coz 130 buks i think from memory.

also can get leaf spring and shackle bush kit, basically any bush i think you can get.
the tie rod ends and drag link, ball joint etc are hardware (steel) not polyurathane so thats not nolathane...
