A while ago I found a diagram of the Narrow Block bolt holes
I am trying to find the same type of diagram for the Wide Block.
Does anyone have it?
Cheers.

No diagram sorry. The measurement at the spigot centres are 310mm(12.80-12.82) for a narrow block and 330mm(12.99-13.00) for a wide block, Ithink?

Re: Wanted, Wide Block bolt hole dimensions.
Thanks.
I'm trying to get the exact dimensions so I can make up a jig to re-drill narrow and wide blocks.
In a few months I'll have my backyard workshop built and will be able to do some machining.
Figured now would be a good time to start gathering info for these future projects.
Cheers.

Well it has been a bit more than a few months but I'm still trying to find the wide block bolt hole pattern.Superscan811 wrote:In a few months I'll have my backyard workshop built and will be able to do some machining.

Re: Wanted, Wide Block bolt hole dimensions.
I am not sure that the diagram you have is the same as the narrow block we have here in the U.S. that doesnt look right the 4G63 and 4G64 narrow block only has 4 or 5 mounting bolts and god knows why its done in inches?
the problem I have always found between the narrow block and the wide block design is that the two lower bolt holes overlap and you end up with a slotted hole instead of a located hole, with that in mind , I couldnt find an exact and dependable center of the input shaft
