W58 gearbox on 4g63t

Hi guy im new to this about to do the conversion on my gd galant. How easy is it to fit the w58 5 speed supra box on the 4g63t motor from the vr4. Just want to know whats involved to do this..

get a bell housing conversion kit from CRS or Dellow. Be about $500 ish mark, easy straight forward and bolts in. Thats on my Sigma tho. I think (and im sure the Galant boys and Girls will correct me if im wrong) you might have clearance issues with the steering arm hitting the bell housing unless you move the motor back...

motor hasnt been mounted yet so that shouldnt be a problem..

If you mount the motor in the standard position it will be fine. There is only an issue with the steering if you move the motor forwards to give clearance for the thermo housing, CAS, etc.

I have the bellhousing here that's been notched for the steering when it came out of a Galant. When I took the thermo housing off and fitted the motor up in my Sigma with factory rubber mounts and Starion brackets it lined up perfect with the original gearbox. The back of the head is about an inch off the firewall.
