how to find the gear ratio on ten bolt diff centre

hi guy does any one know how to work ot t gear ratio on a tenbolt diff from a l300 van two wheel drive as i picked one up from the wreckers and hoping to fit it in my scorpion i counted the crown gear and it has 37 teeth on it if that helps lol if not any ideas plese guys . thanks steve

count the teeth on the pinion and then divide the two

thanks stealth so i got 37 on crown and 8 on pinion and that gives me 4.625 does that sound wright ??

ok cool thanks guys bit taller then i wanted but it will do fine for skids lol if i can over come the cost of the paint job lol
