Old fuel pump has died. Unable to repair, have been advised there are some by the brand name Goss available. Any good? Thanks, Bob.

Fuel pump for what model car ?
If it's for a Saturn motor with no return line ... then this is what was fitted from factory :

Goss & Fuelmiser both make non-genuine versions. A mechanical fuel pump is a mechanical fuel pump, pretty much. Many/most of the non-genuine ones aren't rebuildable, but for the price you wouldn't bother repairing them anyway.

You are correct Bob, the fuel pumps for the 4G32B (belt drive motors) are not a serviceable item. They are a sealed unit.
I can't remember what the brand was that I bought for my hatch, but I remember it cost around the $100 or there abouts.
The pump you're after for you Lancer looks like the one on the bottom left.
I just went into my local parts store and bought bought one off the shelf. I was surprised they had one
How I know what motor Bob needs a pump for
