IMHO these are two things that should not mix. If you are going to the trouble of a turbo fit up I would go straight for efi.

If you have to go carby, Draw through works well with side draft webbers but have a small float bowl and can run out of fuel unless it is modified. Cd carbies ,strongbergs or SU's are not bad but not as responsive as the webber. Blow through is good ,easy to do ,and you can run an intertcooler but care needs to be taken it is set up right for pressurising the float bowl and float. And sometimes theres a constant fual stain around it from pressure weeping.
And draw through needs the turbo set up with a carbon seal to handle the vacuum.
Efi is much better but expensive.
Many years ago My brother did 11.0's 128mph in an pinto 2lt escort with a to4b with 25psi using a draw through 48 webber and avgas. The escort was a streeter and weight 2400lbs. So not bad for a carby set up.
