at what rpm are you getting 18psi by and is it dropping off high in the revs or pulling hard all the way

starts boosting at about 2,000 full boost buy about 4,000 and holds it to 6500. Im going with a decent turbo later on possibly a gt35/40 and external wastegate.

im using the t04b at the moment making 218 rwkw on 16psi forged bottom end, custom cam, microtech,tr magna head, front mount cooler, not sure on injector size but there big makeing full boost by 4200rpm with a ar.50 rear housing thinking of going with the gt3540r but i want to know when it will get full boost thinking of running between 15 and 20psi.

the t04b pulls hard all the way to 7200 rpm rev limiter but as its old style bearings not getting full boost till 4200rpm hoping with a new ball bearing gt3540r i can get 18psi by 3800rpm and still pull till 8000rpm

in my galant sedan,
4g63, fmic, top mount gt3540, external gate, 3" exhaust, haltech sprint 500 ecu, some big injectors (not sure on size)

just had the top end rebuilt with metal head gasket and new valves etc.
car only made 150kw on first tune running 15psi. mechanic said the turbo is to big for only 15psi. and wouldnt consistently run more on the engine without doing cams and shafts and maybe crank. then can run 25-28psi and near double my power figure. i even considered going to a smaller turbo for more response but thought in time i will just build the engine to suit the turbo. might get the engine finished if i end up pulling i out to paint the car.

its quite laggy on 15psi not hitting boost till around 3500-4500 but when it hits its damn quick and pulls throughout the revs. throws me heavily into the seat

Ive just bout a .84 rear for my t04z. Thought i had a 1.00 rear but it was a .70! Still gonna run the .84 might b a bit more laggy but want to get more power up top... And of course more boost later on when i do the forged bottom end. 200Kw @ 18psi
