Small miss fire

Post by 81pw »

I've done two efi setups one a tr and other tp. From both I'm getting a very very small miss at idle when hot. Revs about 800. Miss goes away as soon as I drive. When cold it doesn't have a miss until get it's to about 1100. The missfire are about 2 to 3 seconds apart. I've replaced leads and plugs on both. I'm not sure if I've wire something wrong. I thought maybe cos the compressions so low. Does anyone else have this problem. cheers

Once you've done that, check your manifold for air leaks. The increased vacuum at higher revs could be sucking it closed.
Just throwing ideas around btw.
