Carbie rebuild kit

Post by 176bob »

Having lots of trouble obtaining rebuild kit for Solex Mikuni 28-32 DIDTA-10(A/T) rebuild kit. It will need to be mailed as I live in a fairly remote area. Anyone know of available suppliers I can contact. Thanks, Bob.

Hey,

If that's the rebuild kit for an Astron 2.6 Solex Mikuni carby, I'm also having trouble finding these. (But for a manual)
Any help finding one would be appreciated.

Cheers, Marshall

I bought one from Bursons a number of years ago. Was about $30 from memory.

well the dealers are useless any car over 10 year old they don't have a listing. but as far as I know the carbs are the same auto or manual their are some differences on the throttle linkages auto's have a hole to hook up the kick-down cable manuals don't but that is just the throttle cam internally they are the same. and places such as repco and others aren't much help either. and thats only this year as i have sigma with the minkuni solex it will be a weber soon.
this car is all motor real motors don't need forced induction or nitrous and there's no substitute for cubes.
