Split pulse turbo manifold single wastegate

Im making a manifold for my sigma and I was wondering if by mounting the wastegate right at the flange into the collectors would it cause gas issues? Exhaust gasses travelling through the wastegate pipe and inbetween the scroll instead of straight into the turbo? Or would the gasses go straight into the turbo as its the easiest way? Let me know what your thoughts are. Pics may explain better than I can. :D

1. your using an ARC welder!!!!!!!
2. you will need to keep the wastegate divided right up to the valve in the wastegate, or the point in having twin scroll will have been completely wasted.
it doesnt take much at all to reduce the effect. like you basically have to have the divide touch the wastegate...
like this ...

yeah not using a stick to fully weld it, only tacking it together with the stick at hme :D . Then migging it up at work. I actualy rang a mate this morning and he said put a divider in it, so thats what ill prob do. The last manifold I did for an rb30 also was twin scroll but the gate was about the same distance away as your first pic. thanks for the reply :) .
