When you say not engaging, is it grinding the teeth on the fly wheel or not even touching it?

Grinding, has not done it in a few days thought so haven't got off my arse to look at it yet.
Gonna take it off and have a look at teeth soon. I'm suspecting my flywheel is rooted, the voltage sounds to be good.
Starts really well when it doesn't grind :(

I'd say it's the teeth on the flywheel then. Had the same in my sigma for a while. We just turned the flywheel around and stuck it back on. Worked fine after that. If I hadn't run it off funds I would of replaced it though.
