Hydraulic type mild cam options for Astron II 2.6...

Post by BAD-SIG »

Hi guys not sure if anyone is interested but here we go: I just swapped the engine in my Sigma from an Astron I with adjustable tappets to an Astron II with hydraulic lifters. Because I will be using this car for street cruising, I rather keep the hydraulic tappets. So I'm looking for someone out there that wants to swap a mild cam to suit hydraulic lifters for my Crow Cams mild street cam (704 grind), I'll even throw in the valve train gear (fully assembled) including adjustable tappets that was out of my low kilometre original engine (done less than 100,000kms and was always looked after).

If interested, please reply here and/or PM me. Or if anyone know where I can get a cheap hydraulic type mild cam to suit an Astron II 2.6 with 32/36 Weber, balancershafts removed, 2 1/4" exhaust and port/polished/matched intake, please let me know. I know that RPW has these but I can't bring myself to pay over $400 for it, sorry. Would a regrind be even possible/worth considering?
