Ive had a look and cant find what i need on here..
so is it better to grind my cam
or is it better to buy a stage 3 cam? or whatever
im not 100% sure when it comes to cams
so could someone explain it to me a little bit clearer?
theres a cam grind place up the road from me.
but i dont know what better, getting it grinded to how i want it, or buying one?

stages dont mean squat..... one guys "stage"is another guys stock..... go off the actual measurements of the cam

unless your an engine builder of note do what all the smart guys do.... ask the cam grinder for his advice, BUT you will need all your engine specs and a couple of other bits of info for him to be able to advise you

depending on the engine you may have no choice on ground or new, talk to your grinder....

when you are talking to your grinder, make sure your hair dosent get stuck in it, or you done face plant into it.

whos "stage 3"? they are all different but its not a "stage 2" but it could be 3/4 race????

As stated before, your engine specs (comp ratio, valve size, expected rev range, etc...) will determine the cam you require.
