what electronic dist fits the 1400cc LA.

I want to get rid of the points dizzy..Whats an easy fit?

Mitsubishi ones nothing, buy a conversion, or put up with points, Bosch ones maybe but I dont know of any "bolt in" ones

modified is the only way as far as i know
Needs GA or GB galant front cut to resurrect a GTO. Please help if you can :mrgreen:

YOU WOULD HAVE TO SEE YOUR FRIENDLY WRECKER AND COMPARE THE GUTS OF THE ELECTRONIC DIST.OUT OF A 80/81 L300 IT MAY JUST FIT AN LA DIST.ITS STILL MECH ADVANCE BUT IT GETS RID OF THE POINTS.

hi mate,

i bought a conversion kit from TR spares in south sydney. Cost around high 200's from memory. Easy to install and works well. The same kit services all T3T mistu distributors.

I agree with the above quote that is what i have done in the past and i think you will find you can put the guts of the electronic into the body of the point set up except for the shaft as you need that
i run a electronic dizzy from a uc nimbus in my gsr lancer but then it is a 1600 belt drive engine i also run the same dizzy in my 4wd L300 2.0 litre :D

hmmm... my mazda 626 (rwd, ma engine) had a t3(3t?) points dizzy... i still have the electronic dizzy i put in it (from a b2000 ute i believe)

i borrowed the springs out of the points dizzy because the ones in my lancer broke :o

anyone reckon the guts will change over from the electronic dizzy to my 4g32 dizzy? i dont even know if the electronic one is still a mitsubishi dizzy... i know it uses an rx7 ignition module....
