Hey guys I have recently aquired a GA which im going to be finishing off as a project, however it is missing a few parts.
A GB has come up for sale on here and im thinking of buying it to finish off my car, however I have no idea what the differences between the cars is.
What are the main differences from GA to GB?
Im mainly interested in panels, bumpers, and interior (will have Scorp diff, front struts and custom brakes).
Cheers Matt

Re: GA and GB differences
From my experience:
Panels: The GB has parking lamps in the valance under the front bumper, the GA doesnt. The GB has orange indicator lenses at the front, the GA has white.
Bumpers: No difference
Interior: GB has high back seats, GA has low back. GB has a different heater to GA. GB MAY have different speedo markings to GA.
Other: GB is 1400/1600, GA is 1300/1500. Grill and headlights (obviously) different; some wiring differences to match. Ball joints MAY differ. Brake calipers MAY differ (depends how old the GA is). Different paint and interior colours.
GB is inferior to GA

Re: GA and GB differences
Some of the GA 's have rear pillar badge/vent thing that the GBs dont have.
gearbox cross member is shorter on a GA and bolts to inboard platforms not the chassis "rail" like on gb. (GB cross member handy for that 5 speed conversion
)
Im sure there are a few more very minor differences not mentioned yet but cant think of them atm
btw, see my signature

Re: GA and GB differences
yea i saw your signature.....how much of the front cut do you need???
i need a section of the bottom radiator support pannel (someone decided to jack off it and it crumpelled a bit) and front bumper and trims mainly.
I have 90% of a car just need interior but was going to use it for spare guards and lights.
Cheers Matt

Well, our GB has 16L-style dashboard
Haven't seen any GA around in ages to notice the differences. Must have extinct!
