yea but is it a A51? (thay are not made in aus!)

I had an A51 as my first car.
The differences between it and a GA were
-front quarter windows
-switchable park lights
-fully imported from Japan
-there were a couple of other things that I forget now!
Options were a 3speed on the tree, but I've never seen one in the flesh. I've got the original brochures and magazine articles at home somewhere.

which ones had the chrome arms on the heater/ demister/ vent controls.
I think I had one once, but if it was, was converted to GB headlights and grill.....

not all had square lights. in my manual sum hav the gb grill and lights! but i hav herd of a few that got converted!

all the ones we got did, GB was the first twin headlamp car here (Galant) ,GA were all square , A51 and A52 (which arnt GA's orGB's) were square here. I see you guys posting "A51 and A52" not to sound like a dummy but are you guys refering to the stamp in the firewall? I just got my colt, or galant, atleast i was told it was a galant, and i want to learn more about my car. And so far, Im having a really hard time finding parts here in california!
