Hi everyone,
Im in the process of putting a set of Wherretts onto my GJ Sigma. Tyres are 195/60/15 and for some strange reason, the fronts nick the struts very slightly?? Car has been lowered and the shocks may be different but I wouldnt have thought the wheels would touch.
Any solutions?

That is weird,a 5mm slip on spacer would be the easiest and cheapest fix but you gotta wonder why they are hitting in the first place.
Re: Peter Wherrett/Sigma turbo wheels touching strut
that sounds very strange to me, my turbo wheels fit fine on my old gj :S is it hitting on both sides? lowering it and changing shocks shouldn't make any difference as it wouldn't change the offset or camber angle at the stub axle. are they standard spring landings? or does it have adjustable coilovers

Re: Peter Wherrett/Sigma turbo wheels touching strut
The car has king springs and monroe shocks I think. The previous owner put in the suspension set up so I dont know too much about it. I may have to test fit the other wheel and see if it touches on the other side, but its frustrating as I need the polished wheels for my other car. Can the hubs be modified and affect spacing?

Pix would be awsome.
195/6015 is a standad tire fo a Pepperpot and Turbo/Wherrett rim.
Has the back of the rim been machined down at all.

Re: Peter Wherrett/Sigma turbo wheels touching strut
I'm running 205/60/15 on my GH Turbo and they clear the spring mounts on the strut, but only just. But I do think the Turbo's had a slight repositioning of the spring mount on the strut.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
