Transmission tunnel sizes

Post by gareth12 »

I did a search but could only find info on the GE sigma. Wondered if the transmission tunnel was a lot larger an an auto GJ compared to a manual. Guessing the floorpans on GE GJ would be much the same but though i would ask the experts ;)

I think you'll find the GE/H chassis is very similar and the rest of the models a slightly different shape/size

I'd also suspect that the transmission tunnels on the auto equipped cars naturally larger......but can't confirm completely

I don't think Sigmas have different tunnels for auto or manual, only thought Galants and Lancers did.
Pretty sure the tunnels on the GJ onwards cars is bigger than the GE/H cars
