My GE Sigma fan clutch seems to be working incorrectly. With the engine cold, the fan spins quite fast, as the engine heats up, the clutch slips more, so the fan speed reduces. I'm assuming it should work opposite to this?
Any suggestions as to where to get a new fan clutch (assuming I need one)?
Thanks,
John
Sigma fan clutch question/problem
Re: Sigma fan clutch question/problem
sounds normal to me.
they are locked as theyre cold then they heatup and freeup, when they heat up past normal temp they start to lock again.
if your not overheating, id leave it be
