Borg Warner box

Post by chriz312 »

Hey the other week we took out my gearbox to change clutch and when we put the gear stick Back in it made the gears all weird like fifth gear is hard to get in and dosed go into second easily like before we took it out. I took it to a gearbox guy and he said I was missing a plastic ring but he seemed like a twit and I don't think he really like my car. It's a gh sigma wagon

Seems like your missing this part. May have fell out or become dislodged when you had the shifter removed.
Remove the shifter and see if its there.

This gearbox stick...is the BW 5-speed that has reverse in the upper left hand corner... (you have to push down on the stick to select it)

If it is...i have a shortened version which i had done for my last car which i'm willing to part with for a few bucks if you want it.

it's in pretty good nick...the only fault realy is that it's been in and out of various cars quite a few times so the metal teeth

other than that...great little stick to shift with
