FORGED PISTONS FOR 2.6

Just wondering if the g54b was the same as the 4g54 as i i think that the g54b is the american version off the 4g is this correct as looking at forged piston for a g54 and rods and there both a 2.6 jsut wondering if these would be alright? before i buy them thought i would ask ppl that know abit more hahaha Cheers

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 54B had flat tops?

a 4g54 is a astron 1
a 4g45b is astron 2
a 4g54bt is the conquest turbo engine
and the pistons your looking at are g54bt
and yes thay will fit as there all 91.1 bore std

Interested where u found these pistons and rods and how much they are.

Top End Performance do JE forged pistons and rods for the 2.6
GH Sigma, 16" Mesh wheels, sports steering wheel and a V8 exhaust

Look at summit racing or JEGS. Don't worry about getting rods as they are the same N/A to turbo (as far as I know??) and would be cheaper to get your rods balanced/shotpeened here.
There are also different dish capacities available in the aftermarket pistons so you can get to your desired compression ratio.

Aftermarket forged conrods are made right here in Aus for the 2.6, $265+ gst ea
